Delivery of your Kiln Dried Firewood Logs

We deliver ourselves within circa 15 miles of our Hub in Frodsham, Cheshire. In order to enable us to operate nationally, we ship non local orders and our XXL product via a number of residential pallet delivery logistics partners. National deliveries and XXL products, should be expected to be made using an 18 tonne vehicle. 

All deliveries are subject to the terms and conditions of our shipping policy as set out below. 

Once your order has been processed and your logs have completed their drying process, they will be dispatched to the address you have requested us to deliver to. You must provide a suitable daytime contact number at the time of ordering. Failure to do so could result in a delay or refusal of delivery.

Deliveries days are typically Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, there are no guaranteed delivery services outside of those hours.

All orders are delivered on a wooden pallet. The pallet is removed from the vehicle by being lowered to the ground on a tail lift and moved on the ground with a manual pallet lifter. You should expect the delivery to be kerb side, moving the logs on to your property is the responsibility of the customer. 

Specifically your delivery is contracted for a one man, kerb side delivery only. While we endeavour to meet or indeed exceed delivery expectations, any movement of the goods on your property is at the driver’s discretion and we cannot guarantee this service. We encourage drivers to help where conditions safely allow, however, please note that this is entirely at the sole discretion of the driver, and they may be unable to leave the pallet at the specified location if they believe it unsafe or unreasonable to do so. We are not be liable in any way for refusing to leave the goods in the specified location.

Specifically manual pallet lifters cannot move on gravel or other loose surfaces. They will not move up kerbs, up steep inclines or over steps. We do not have access to vehicles with cranes and therefore we cannot lift goods over any raised surfaces.

Please note the pallet and bulk bag will left with you to dispose of or reuse, except in the case of local deliveries to subscribers or regular customers where we are happy to pickup previously delivered pallets and bags when visiting their property to deliver the next order. No specific separate trips will be made to pick up pallets at any time.

If the delivery driver arrives at your address when the delivery has specifically been booked in and no one is available to accept delivery, with no suitable place for the goods to be left then there will be a redelivery charge equal to the original shipping cost to us, up to the value of £180. Please make sure we have a suitable telephone number and that you are available to be contacted on your agreed delivery date.
